OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The invention, a floating platform for recreational use in aquatic environments, refers to an installation to be anchored in coastal areas or in stagnant waters and to provide a useful surface, on which transit is possible
or the stay of one or more users, either directly on it or with auxiliary furniture and accessories such as chairs, armchairs, hammocks or sun loungers. Also, the platform can be dragged to the mainland.
The field of application of the present invention is part of the industry sector dedicated to the manufacture of recreational floating structures. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
As a reference to the current state of the art, it should be noted that, although some types of floating platforms are known for recreational use in aquatic environments, such as the one proposed here, or they consist of large fixed structures that, generally, they do not have additional accessories and only serve to get on and launch into the water from them, or they consist of structures as a small boat and, in any case, of technical characteristics, configuration and constitution completely different from the structure of the present invention, as claimed.
In that sense, it should be noted that, for example, by US Patent Document US8795016B2, relating to a "floating cabin", a floating room is described consisting of two portions with a central corridor that are supported on a concave base occupying all The length of the cabin. Being, therefore, a construction that, even belonging to the same scope, is different in its structural configuration and its possibilities of use.
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention therefore relates to a platform according to claim 1, that is, a platform comprising a floating body with toroid geometry or a floating toroid, generated by a revolutionized flat profile comprising on the side that forms the surface inside the toroid hole a trapezoidal projection, at least one platform or platform located on the hollow of said toroid thus allowing the transit and stay of one or more users as well as the incorporation of accessories, and at least one lower lattice structure located under the inner hollow of the toroid, closing said floating body inferiorly and acting as a structural reinforcement framework. Said lattice structure gives rigidity to the assembly and serves as a mooring point for the platform when supporting an eventual ballast. It can be divided into equal parts, preferably four parts, which are joined together and to the toroid by means of attachment, preferably screws.
The toroid can comprise inside, as a security measure, a filling material different from that of the body itself. Said filler material is a honeycomb polymer or an expanded polystyrene foam, which guarantees the buoyancy of the platform in the event that the toroid has a waterway that allows water to enter the inside of the toroid, thus guaranteeing flotation of the platform in case of hull breakage, formed by the toroid. This is because the materials float by virtue of their apparent density and not due to their geometry, understanding the bulk density as the density of the solid formed by the polymer and the air bubbles occluded therein, which make it much lighter than If it were solid.
The stability and flotation of the platform are guaranteed with the geometry of the revolutionized profile to generate the toroid, with which the submerged volume and the variation of this are controlled depending on the balancing by adding a stabilizing contour, in addition to the possibility of installing a ballast according to conditions of use. On the inside of the profile generated by the toroid there is a trapezoidal protrusion or protrusion inwards so that in a static flotation, said protuberance or protrusion remains out of the water, but if the platform oscillates due to waves or movement of the people on the platform, the protuberance or projection would come into contact with the water, thus increasing the volume submerged on that side, which would move the hydrostatic thrust center towards it (the one responsible for flotation). This means that when the platform oscillates, that protrusion or protuberance touches the water and prevents, by flotation, that the oscillation continues towards that side. The lower inclined plane of the trapezoidal projection provides progressive contact with the water preventing the collision of the platform with the water to produce a sound that may be annoying for the platform users, while the upper inclined plane of said projection prevents stagnation. of water that would facilitate the proliferation of algae or that would accelerate the deterioration of the platform especially when it is made of wood.
The use of a ballast that also contributes to the stability of the platform in the water is optional, and its use will be subject to the convenience dictated by the circumstances.
Thus, in a possible preferred embodiment of the invention, said revolution profile generated by the floating body toroid contemplates a flat upper base, a lower protuberance, a curved convex outer side and an inner projection forming a step with the flat upper base and the lower protuberance, however, being capable of presenting other configurations formed from different profiles or closed curves with a trapezoidal projection on the inner side of the toroid formed by the profile or closed curve.
In any case, and following the particularities of the floating platform of the invention, it is important to emphasize that it preferably constitutes a removable structure to facilitate its transport, and the assembly is preferably all bolted.
Likewise, the materials used are, essentially, composite or composite fiberglass with polyester resin, wood, stainless steel, expanded polystyrene and / or polyurethane foam, being used as follows:
The floating body, externally, as well as a hood, if any, are
preferably polyester reinforced with fiberglass or GRP,
The filling or inner core of the floating body is preferably of
expanded polystyrene or polyurethane foam,
The platform is preferably made of wood, and
And the lattice structure or lower frame, preferably, is made of aluminum.
To do this, and specifically, the platform is configured, essentially, from a floating body of toroid geometry, made to guarantee a condition of unsinkable, on which a platform that allows the transit and stay of users sits. The toroid body preferably comprises at least two parts, preferably four parts, assembled together by means of attachment, which are preferably screws. Also, the lower lattice structure is formed by at least one structure in the shape of at least a quarter of a circle of the inner hollow.
Optionally, this floating body is capable of providing itself with a fixed canopy facing that protects said users occupying the platform from the sun or wind.
Likewise, the floating body is capable of incorporating an access ladder, which can be fixed or detachable to facilitate the dragging of the platform on land, to facilitate the ascent to the platform from the water and, logically, also the descent to dive into she.
Additionally, the platform has a storage compartment for goods or objects owned by the user, umbrellas and other means for leisure, in addition to the technically necessary elements for mooring, anchoring, dragging and transporting, which, preferably but not in a manner limiting, it is arranged under the aforementioned platform, between it and the aforementioned lattice structure arranged on the bottom bottom provided under the platform as a structural reinforcement element, the storage compartment being accessible through a trapdoor made for this purpose and, preferably , equipped with safety lock. In addition, or alternatively, the existence of compartments as a closet or drawer coupled on the platform is contemplated. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To complement the present description and in order to facilitate the understanding of the features of the invention, the present specification is attached, as an integral part thereof of a set of figures that are illustrative and not limiting.
Figure number 1 shows a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of the floating platform for recreational use in aquatic environments, object of the invention, its general external configuration being appreciated as well as the main parts and elements it comprises.
Figures 2, 3 and 4 show respective views in front elevation, upper floor and side elevation of the example of the floating platform of the invention shown in Figure 1, showing from different angles the arrangement and shape of the parts and elements comprising .
Figure 5 shows a perspective view of the exploded floating platform exploded view of the invention, according to the same example shown in the preceding figures, showing the parts in which it is disassembled as well as the configuration of each of them. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
As observed in said figures, the platform (1) in question essentially comprises a floating body of toroid geometry (2), on which a platform or platform (3), preferably made of wood, completely covers the gap. inside said toroid body (2) and allows the transit and stay of one or more users on it, as well as the incorporation of sun loungers (4), chairs or other furniture or accessories, also contemplating, in a preferred manner, a structure of lower lattice (5) that closes inferiorly the toroid floating body (2) acting as a structural reinforcement framework.
Optionally, the toroid floating body (2) incorporates a fixed canopy-shaped face (6) that encompasses a portion thereof to protect users occupying the platform (3) from the sun and / or wind.
Likewise, an access ladder (7) is attached to the toroid floating body (2) that hangs from it and descends to its lower part to submerge in the water, facilitating the rise of the users to the platform and the descent to the water. That ladder
(7) It is removable, so that by removing or lifting it, the platform can be dragged on the mainland. The toroid shape of the body also facilitates the dragging of the platform by land.
Preferably, it comprises at least one storage compartment (not shown) provided, either under the platform (3), between it and the lower lattice structure (5), and accessible through the corresponding practicable trapdoor, either by way of closet or drawer coupled on the platform (3), or combining both possibilities, preferably being able to store goods or objects owned by the user, umbrellas and other means for leisure, in addition to the technically necessary elements for mooring, anchoring, drag and transport.
The stability and flotation of the platform are guaranteed with the geometry of the revolutionized profile to generate the floating body toroid (2) by means of a projection
or protrusion on the side that forms the inside of the trapezoidal shaped toroid hollow. In a preferred example, said profile contemplates a flat upper base (21), a lower protuberance (22), a curved convex outer side (23) and a trapezoidal inner projection (24) determined by an inclined upper step (25) with the upper base flat (21) and an inclined lower step (26) with the lower protuberance (22), as can be seen in Figure 5 in which said body has been shown sectioned in segments as explained below. Additionally, the possibility of installing a ballast (not shown) is also contemplated to guarantee the stability of the platform (1) if it is considered necessary according to each case.
Finally, Figure 5 shows how the floating platform (1) is preferably a removable structure, where, at least, the toroid floating body (2) and the structural lower lattice structure (5) are formed by four sectors, being the assembly of the same, as well as the rest of elements mostly by screwing. The union or assembly of the different elements is done by removable joints, fixed with guiding elements executed on the piece itself and joined together by screws. These joints are designed to prevent the joining elements, screws, from being visible.
